Devontay Stanley Jones is in police custody. Jones has been on the run from Authorities in Jefferson County. He was captured in Autauga County just minutes ago after a days long manhunt.

PRATTVILLE, AL – CrimeStoppers 215stop is offering a reward for any information leading to
the whereabouts of fugitive Devontay Stanley Jones.
The United States Marshals Service (USMS), Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force
(GCRFTF), Autauga County Sheriff’s Office, Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, Prattville Police
Department, Millbrook Police, and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency initiated an investigation
to locate and arrest Devontay Stanley JONES. JONES was wanted by the Jefferson County
Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for Certain Persons Forbidden. Jones is currently wanted for
weapon offenses, eluding law enforcement, and probation violations.
Law enforcement last encountered JONES on 5/7/2026 in Prattville just North of exit 181 on the
Westside of Interstate 65. JONES was on foot wearing Camouflage pants, dark green under shirt,
and a dark colored outer shirt.
JONES should be considered Armed and Dangerous! Crimestoppers is requesting assistance
from the residents in this area to review home security footage and to report suspicious activity.
