$7,500 REWARD ANNOUNCED IN UNSOLVED 2020 HOMICIDE OF KESHON GARDNER


Montgomery, AL — CrimeStoppers 215STOP is seeking the public’s assistance in solving the
2020 homicide of Keshon Gardner, announcing an increased reward of up to $7,500 for
information leading to the identification and arrest of those responsible.

Police say on Sunday, June 28, 2020, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Montgomery Police
responded to the 5900 block of Oakleigh Road in Regency Park in reference to a subject
suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers discovered Keshon Gardner, who was
pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have since identified a white Ford Fusion with dark tinted windows as a vehicle
of interest believed to be connected to the incident.

CrimeStoppers 215STOP has increased its reward to $5,000, and Montgomery City
Councilman Oronde K. Mitchell is contributing an additional $2,500, bringing the total
available reward to $7,500 for information that leads to an arrest.
