Troy Police Seeking Help Identifying Identity Theft/Fraud Suspect


Troy, Al. – CrimeStoppers 215STOP and the Troy Police Department are requesting the public’s
assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an identity theft and fraud investigation stemming from
an incident at Ulta Beauty in Troy, Alabama.

Investigators say that on July 29, 2026, the unidentified suspect used another person’s personal
identifying information, including a Social Security card, to fraudulently apply for and open a credit
card account in the victim’s name while inside the business.

Troy Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect connected to this case. The
incident remains under investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is encouraged to contact CrimeStoppers
