$11,000 Reward Offered in Walton County Murder Investigation, Suspect may have fled to Alabama

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in
locating Isabelle Johnson, who is wanted on an open count of murder in the killing of a 43-year-old
Jason Coulthart.

Johnson is accused in connection with the discovery of Coulthart’s remains on Thursday, June 25, on
a property off Sunset Lane in Freeport. Investigators say the discovery came after information was
received from the Niceville Police Department regarding Coulthart’s location.

Five people have been arrested for accessory after the fact to a capital felony as law enforcement
continues targeted efforts to find Johnson, who is believed to be actively evading arrest.
Johnson is described as a 38-year-old white female, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing
about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes, though investigators believe she may have
recently cut her hair short and dyed it to change her appearance.

Authorities say Johnson is known to use multiple identities and aliases, including Harley, Jessica
Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Thrash, Jessica Dowdy, and possibly “Denise.”
She has ties to Okaloosa and Walton counties in Florida, as well as areas in Georgia and lower
Alabama.

Investigators also believe Johnson may have a floral tattoo on her left hand near her thumb and
forefinger and a tattoo on her right ankle. She is known to move frequently and may attempt to gain
assistance by telling people stories about domestic violence or other personal hardships to receive
rides, money, or other help.

A reward of up to $11,000 is now being offered for information leading to Johnson’s arrest. Emerald
Coast Crime Stoppers is offering up to $6,000, and the Florida Sheriffs Association Criminal
Apprehension Assistance Program has contributed an additional $5,000.
