Police say On Saturday, June 27, 2026, a vehicle and its occupants were caught on camera around 9:02 p.m. collecting large concrete rocks from the 200 block of Barnett Boulevard.

Less than an hour later, between 9:30 p.m. and 10:05 p.m., the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office received more than 15 reports of a dark-colored sedan throwing those rocks into oncoming traffic.

🚗💥 At least 15 vehicles were struck, putting innocent drivers in serious danger.
📍 The suspect vehicle was seen traveling along:
Tallassee Highway / Cherokee Trail ➡️ Holtville Road / South Jordan Dam Road
📸 The same vehicle was captured on multiple surveillance cameras at area gas stations along this route.
⚖️ Charges include:

• Felony throwing/shooting into an occupied vehicle
• Criminal mischief (felony & misdemeanor)
• Reckless endangerment
