MONTGOMERY, Ala. — CrimeStoppers 215STOP is offering a $5,000 reward for information
leading to the identification and arrest of a suspect in the 2020 murder of Jonvonte Goode. The case
remains under investigation, and authorities are asking the public to help share any information that
could move it forward.

Police say on January 30, 2020, at about 5 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 1900 block
of Hilldale Drive after reports of a shooting. On the scene officers found Jonvonte Goode, 22, of
Montgomery, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound; he was transported to a local hospital,
where he later died.

Investigators also have video surveillance and photos from Gibbs Village showing a vehicle of
interest.

help provide the break needed to identify the person responsible and bring closure to Goode’s family.
