
(Wilcox County, AL) – CrimeStoppers 215-STOP is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information
that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect responsible for a fatal hit-and-run.
Pine Hill Police say in the early morning hours of January 18, 2026, Dequarius Pritchett was walking
along Alabama Highway 5, just north of Pine Hill, when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the
scene, leaving Pritchett fatally injured. No arrests have been made at this time.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver and the vehicle involved.
Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or has information about the vehicle or the suspect is urged to come forward.
