Captured: Wilcox County Sheriff’s Deputies Search for Armed Fugitive


Camden, AL – The Wilcox County Sheriff’s Department is urging the public to be on the
lookout for 40-year-old Elias Deon Campbell, wanted on kidnapping and theft charges.
Authorities warn that Campbell is considered armed and dangerous.

Campbell was last seen the morning of February 24, 2026 near the 2300 block of Highway 10
East, outside Camden, wearing a distinctive red M&M jacket. He stands 5’09” tall, weighs 153
lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He may be driving a black 2014 Chevy Impala bearing
Alabama tag #A0C47AN.

The public is urged NOT to approach Campbell. Immediately call 911 if sighted.
Information that leads to Campbells location and arrest will lead to a cash reward.
