Police say this suspect used a fake driver’s license and stolen credit card to steal a Penske truck.

Opelika Police Department is investigating a Theft of Property, First Degree, involving a Penske truck rented from Home Depot-Penske, located at 2190 Tiger Town Parkway.

The vehicle was rented on October 12, 2025, with a scheduled return date of October 15, 2025, but was never returned.

During the investigation, officers discovered that the suspect used a fraudulent driver’s license and a stolen credit card to obtain the vehicle.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect as a Black man with facial hair, wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, gray pants, and Nike Air Ken Griffey Max 1 shoes.
