


OPELIKA, Ala. – The Opelika Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying
a woman involved in a theft at a local retail store.
Police say on November 13, 2025, at around 8:15 p.m., officers responded to Ross Dress for
Less, located at 2087 Tiger Town Parkway, after receiving a report of a stolen black diaper bag.
The victim told officers the bag was taken from their shopping cart while they were shopping.
Surveillance video shows a white female with brown hair taking the diaper bag and leaving the
store. The suspect was wearing a sweater, black pants, and black sneakers.
Anyone with information about this incident or the suspect’s identity is asked to contact the
