Millbrook Police Seek Suspects in “Cash Cash” Scam



Millbrook, AL – The Millbrook Police Department is investigating a theft by deception incident
that occurred on December 15, 2025, at the Dollar General located at 4941 Main Street in
Millbrook.

According to investigators, three male suspects entered the store and scammed the cashier into
loading prepaid cards without providing payment. The suspects pretended to complete a
purchase using a debit or credit card but canceled the transaction before instructing the cashier to
press the “cash” button on the register. This action processed the sale without any money being
exchanged.

The same individuals are believed to have carried out a similar scheme at another store in the
River Region on the same date. The total loss from these incidents exceeds $2,500.
All three suspects are wanted for Theft by Deception, 1st Degree. They were last seen traveling
in a white SUV, possibly a Mazda.

Photos of the suspects and their vehicle are attached.
