An anonymous tip has lead to the location and arrest of an attempted murder suspect.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF), has arrested 18-year-old William Jordan Wingard in connection with an attempted murder investigation.

Wingard was wanted by the Sheriff’s Office for Attempted Murder and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Building or Vehicle.

On November 26, 2025, investigators received information that led to Wingard’s location. Wingard was taken into custody without incident or injury.
