MONTGOMERY — The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a traffic
collision that resulted in one fatality.

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at about 4:57 a.m., MPD responded to the 4400 block of
Troy Highway in reference to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. At the scene,
officers located the pedestrian, identified as 67-year-old Ephriam Bristow, of
Montgomery, who sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. The vehicle
fled before officers arrived. There were no other injuries reported.

The investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing, and no further information is available
for release.
