CrimeStoppers Gun Buyback Event

Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church
CrimeStoppers 215stop Inc., formerly known as Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, in partnership with the City of Montgomery and the Montgomery Police Department, will host an anonymous Gun Buyback event at Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church, located at 1931 Highland Avenue in Montgomery, AL.
Community members who turn in firearms at this event will receive cash compensation: $50 for any rifle or shotgun, $100 for any functioning handgun, and $200 for any assault or semi-automatic rifle.
Purpose and Community Impact
The gun buyback event is designed to offer a safe and confidential way for individuals to surrender firearms they no longer need or wish to keep. In previous events, participants have included widows who inherited firearms, individuals who received guns from family members but lack proper training, and parents seeking to ensure firearms do not fall into the hands of children.
By participating, you are contributing to the safety of our neighborhoods by reducing the number of unused firearms in circulation, thereby decreasing the risk of these weapons being acquired through theft or burglary.
We encourage all residents to consider this opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our community. To those planning to attend, please remember to transport your firearms unloaded and in the trunk of your vehicle. All guns will be accepted, no questions asked, in exchange for cash ranging from $50 to $200.
*Large numbers of weapons consisting of 10 or more will not be purchased the day of the gun buyback due to logistics. Guns will be accepted, but payment
