MONTGOMERY — The Montgomery Police Department has charged a suspect in connection with a shooting that resulted in the death of Reginald McCray, 33.

On Saturday, February 15, 2025, at about 10:14 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 100 block of Nottingham Court in reference to a subject shot. There officers located McCray who sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

MPD has charged Kenneth Derrell Dixon, 40, with Murder. Dixon was taken into custody on October 20 by the U. S. Marshals Task Force and booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
