Man Wanted After Innocent Woman Shot in Clarke County, $2500 Reward Offered


Clarke County, Ala. – Law enforcement officers are actively searching for 23-year-old Jalin
Jequon Pace. Pace is wanted for his role in a January 5, 2026, shooting in rural Clarke County
that left an innocent woman injured.

Investigators say that around 8:20 p.m., Pace and Quenterio Washington fired nearly twenty
5.56-caliber rounds into a black Chevrolet Malibu as the victim drove to work. The suspects are
believed to have mistaken her vehicle for one belonging to a rival gang member.
After the shooting, Pace fled to the Gibbs East Village Apartments in Montgomery and is now
believed to be hiding with friends or relatives. He also has family connections in Huntsville and
Silas, Alabama.

• Assault 1st Degree

• Name: Jalin Jequon Pace
• Male, 5’7”, 135 lbs., Brown Eyes, Medium-Length Black Dreadlocks
