Today we hosted our very first peer mediation training program at Bellingrath Middle School. This pilot program is an important step toward fostering a safer and more respectful school environment.

This pilot program is designed to empower students with essential skills in conflict resolution, mutual respect, and the positive use of communication.

Through this training, participating students will learn how to effectively manage and resolve conflicts among their peers, promoting dialogue over violence.

The program underscores the power of words and encourages a culture of understanding and empathy within the school community.

It is our hope that this program will successfully expand to neighboring schools.
