
Selma, AL—CrimeStoppers 215-STOP is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in a fatal shooting currently under
investigation by the Selma Police Department.
Police say on February 11, 2026, Selma Police officers were at 1300 Alabama Avenue when an adult male arrived at the location driving a white 2007 Ford F-150. The victim, identified as 58-year-old Antrone Johnson of Selma, reported that he had been shot. Officers immediately observed a gunshot wound to the victim’s chest, as well as significant blood inside the vehicle. The truck also showed multiple bullet strikes, including damage to the
hood and windshields.
The victim told officers the shooting happened in the area of Leroy Street and Griffin Avenue. He was transported by ambulance to 1015 Medical Center Parkway for treatment but succumbed
to his injuries on February 21, 2026.
This case remains under active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact
